Those terms are kind of scary, right? Many would say terrifying.

And also, let’s be honest, kind of boring.  

Most of us sort of understand them, so why does these being truly informed on these concepts actually matter, really? And, why, are they important RIGHT NOW?

Well, because more than half of Americans are living financially on the edge, most paycheck-to-paycheck.

Now, for a few seconds, think about how different this graph could look if we were taught, as kids, more about the kind of basic financial concepts I just brought up.

Because when I see this graph it makes me want to run home and figure out all my finances and all the economic terms they didn’t teach me in school. I’m sure I’m not alone here.

Don’t you wish you could go back in time and learn all this stuff as a kid?

I do.

The future of jobs and the market likely seems precarious, at best. So, now more than ever, kids should be prepared to manage their finances for the ups and downs that life will throw at them as adults.

PlayPal Kids is here to provide the financial foundations for that journey. To change the perception and language around term “Financial Literacy” in order to make it approachable and engaging instead of a boring obligation. We believe our product could positively affect the long term wealth of a generation. If we can’t do that, kids will soon enter a world that is much harder to manage financially but will still avoid dealing with it, like many of us unfortunately do now.
